Diversified:

method of hands on manipulation by determining the exact direction needed for reduction of the joint motion restriction, and manipulating the segments as needed for reduction of nerve irritation, pain, and to improve function.

Activator:

very light, specific, low force adjusting performed with an instrument, used for conditions such as osteoporosis, infants and children and in cases where the patient is in severe pain and cannot tolerate hand pressure or traditional manipulation.

Drop Table:

uses precision to adjust the spine while the body is at perfect rest to optimize ease and comfort on patients. This works by raising a section of the table about an inch and applying gentle thrust over a joint, causing the table to drop back into its original position. The inertia forces produced from the body dropping travel through the targeted joint and muscles, restoring motion and reducing pain. This is especially beneficial for adjusting the pelvis or sacroiliac joints in cases of a functional short leg.

Webster Technique:

involves a specific sacral analysis, diversified adjustment, and related soft tissue release to be used on all weight bearing individuals including the pregnant population and is safe to be used throughout pregnancy. It is used to facilitate the mother’s pelvic alignment and nerve system function. This in turn balances pelvis muscles and ligaments, reduces torsion to the uterus, and offers a greater potential for fetal positioning.

Webster Technique

Flexion/Distraction:

involves a specialized table that gently distracts and stretches the spine, isolating the area of pain while slightly flexing the spine in a pumping rhythm. When used for disc related conditions, it increases the intervertebral disc height to remove annular tension on the annular fibers and nerve by making more room and improving circulation. It allows the center of the disc, the nucleus pulposis, to assume the central position and relieves irritation of the spinal nerve. It helps restore vertebral joints to their physiological relationships of motion, and improves posture and movement while relieving pain. When used for non disc related conditions, such as facet syndrome, spondylolisthesis, sprain/strain, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, flexion/distraction provides all of the above benefits, plus the ability to place spinal joints into normal, painless movements to restore spinal motion without pain. It increases posterior disc space, decreases protrusion and reduces stenosis by stretching the ligamentum flavum. It increases metabolite transport into the disc.

Decompression:

stretching the spine using a motorized table, where the patient’s feet may be strapped to the table and pulled with the goal of relieving pain and promoting an optimal healing environment for bulging, degenerating, or herniated discs. It creates negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or repositioning of the disc material. It will also cause an influx of healing nutrients, oxygen, and moisture back into the disc to promote healing.

Doctor Administered Manual Soft Tissue Massage:

Used in conjunction with chiropractic care to receive optimal results. This helps increase circulation, remove toxins, increase flexibility, and decrease muscular tension.

Theragun Percussive Therapy Massage:

With over a decade of research, development, and innovation, Theragun delivers percussive therapy treatment with clinically effective results with pain relief, performance enhancement, improved range of motion, and faster recovery.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation:

a form of manual therapy to reduce the patient’s pain and increase function by breaking down scar tissue and fascia restrictions that may be due to trauma or strained muscles or spasm. It reduces restrictions by stretching connective tissue in an attempt to rearrange the structure of the soft tissue being treated.

Rehabilitation Exercises:

a wide range of physical activities that focus on restoring and maintaining strength, endurance, flexibility, stability, and balance. The goal is to return the patient to a fully functioning, pain-free state. Exercise protocols tailored to the individual’s specific needs are available and utilized as indicated. These include strengthening, stretching, yoga poses, ergonomic training, flexibility, and balance to help accompany your chiropractic treatment. These are designed to help release contracted muscles, tendons, and fascia and to help mobilize the joints, increase circulation, improve coordination, promote relaxation, etc. These are performed in the office to ensure proper execution of the exercises and also performed at home to get the most out of your chiropractic treatment.

Kinesiotaping Methods:

causes physiological effects on several body systems, including circulatory/lymphatic, neural, muscular, fascial system, and the joints. Different from athletic taping, kinesiotape does not limit range of motion or constrict joints, but more so creates a bridge over the areas injured for support. Taping usually stays on for about 3-5 days and can also be recreated at home as these tapes are easy to find in stores and online.

Electrical Stim:

Several types offered, including: interferential, which is designed for pain relief and reduction of inflammation; and Russian, which is used to strengthen weakened muscles and rehabilitate injuries.

Therapeutic Ultrasound:

Uses high frequency sound waves the deep tissues to help with inflammation and injuries. Ultrasound can improve blood flow, reduce inflammation, and relax muscles while softening scar tissue.

Cryotherapy and Thermotherapy:

Ice is used for vasoconstriction to decrease inflammation and spasm, and reduce pain. Hot moist packs are used to decrease joint stiffness, reduce spasm, increase blood flow, and decrease pain.

Intersegmental Traction:

Used to stretch soft tissue and separate articular surfaces, help with degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, and hypomobile joints. It also triggers proprioceptive reflexes, relieves joint compression, promotes intervertebral disc hydration, and increases lymph and venous flow.

Retail Products:

Biofreeze, Cryoderm, doTERRA essential oils and essential oil products, Standard Process supplements, China Gel, Chiroflow pillows, and other health products sold here.
